JND Racing has secured a multi-faceted expansion which will see it step up into the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia GR Cup at this weekend’s Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

Having already established itself as a major player in Australian karting circles, JND has struck a merger deal with both 6868 Motorsport and Parolin Australia which will see all parties operate simultaneously under Nick Percat and the team .

That includes taking over a Toyota 86 program, becoming the official Australian importer for Parolin go-karts and managing the factory karting race team.

JND, co-founded by six-time Supercars race winner Nick Percat, will initially step into the GR Cup to field Zane Rinaldi for the remainder of the season across the upcoming Gold Coast and Sandown events.

It will then up the ante for 2026 with two cars in GR Cup and at least two in the feeder Scholarship Series.

Drivers for those four-plus seats are yet to be decided.

The news comes ahead of a big next week, with JND to test Parolin karts for the first time at Ipswich on October 27th before holding an evaluation day at Queensland Raceway on October 30th using two Scholarship Series-spec Toyota 86s.

It is due to conduct a further evaluation day later in the year before finalising its 2026 driver line-up.

Now based out of Redland Bay, JND has signed the experienced Pete Crossingham as team manager, while Daniel Forkings and Deik Lack have come onboard as JND co-owners from 6868 Motorsport and Parolin importers to provide business expertise to complement Percat’s racing knowhow.

 QUOTES

Nick Percat, JND Racing co-owner

“JND Racing now has a complete pathway from Karts to Cars, we feel like we offer everything a driver needs to succeed with a clear pathway.’’

“We’ll debut in GR Cup this weekend at the Gold Coast with Zane Rinaldi. He’s a good young steerer who runs at the front, so it works well for us to have someone like that in our car. And for him, it’s about getting him back on track at short notice with a tight turnaround from Bathurst to the Gold Coast.

“Then next year we’ll have two GR Cup cars running and two to three in Scholarship Series.

“We’ll try to lock in all our drivers in Scholarship and GR this side of Christmas and hopefully, the plan is one of them will be a driver that’s been running in karts with JND for the past 12 months or so.

“We’ll expand our factory karting team as well. The final number of karts we’ll field in 2026 is not confirmed but it will be somewhere around the 15 mark. With our JND karting team we look forward to helping all Parolin drivers across the country and make sure the Parolin kart is strong across the board.”

Daniel Forkings, JND Racing co-owner

“Nick is also now co-owner with both Deik and I, in the import of Parolin karts and Parolin products, which is quite exciting’’.

“For us, it’s really great to join forces with Nick Percat and the JND Racing.

“Nick and the JND team are really big on their goal of facilitating a fantastic pathway in motorsport and that aligns perfectly with what we’re all about.

“We are confident this partnership is going to really elevate our programs.”

Deik Lack, JND Racing co-owner

“Having JND and Nick partner with us is a fantastic opportunity for Parolin karts to grow in Australia and really fight for more race and championship wins.

“We can’t wait to rip in and get started.”
